This list identifies the top technology solutions as identified by BuiltWorlds Benchmarking Research related to preconstruction activities in the following six categories:

How the list was created
Every single company on the list below was identified through BuiltWorlds Benchmarking research and was objectively selected based on primary data input. Our preconstruction survey was completed by contractors across the globe who provided information on the solutions they are currently using, how often they are using them, and the quality of each solution across a variety of criteria. This primary information provided by contractors was then synthesized into a list of the best, and most used, solutions. For each of the 50 solutions below, companies in this list are split into three product categories:
- Top Solutions: These solutions were identified through our research as having widespread adoption and high quality functionality ratings.
- Adopted Solutions: These solutions were identified through our research as adopted by contractors but not widespread adoption. Functionality ratings for these solutions are typically average to high.
- Future Disruptors: These are solutions identified through BuiltWorlds Venture research as solutions that have raised money and have a promising future, but were not identified as a current solution by contractor research participants.
